Trusting through the transition!

Its truly incredible to look back on the past years of my life and see all the places the Lord has taken me. I just turned 25 in April and the reality that I have been serving as a full time missionary for the last 5 years struck me in a new way. I often think about my future and during this season of my life especially I have been asking God "whats next?" I have been serving the skateboarding community in Panama for almost 7 years now and believe it is time for me to follow the Lords leading elsewhere. This transition is very hard and has been quite a process to arrive at this decision. My desire for the ministry in Panama has always been that the local skaters would understand Gods heart for skateboarders and catch the vision of raising up disciples of Jesus in the skateboarding community. I am very pleased to say that this is the case in Panama and that I am excited to see a new season unfold where the guys I have been discipling take ownership of the ministry and begin to lead full time.

What am I doing to do?

I believe the Lord is calling me to join a team of missionaries that are pioneering skateboarding ministry in Europe. I have been invited to serve with Calling all Skaters in Barcelona Spain. The details of how I will be serving this team are still being defined. The Lord continues to confirm my calling to share Gods Love with skateboarders and to disciple them. I am also praying about pioneering an art department with a focus on helping skateboarders develop their creative abilities and learn to recognize God through that process. Before moving foreword with all of this I have chosen to spend 3 months preparing myself in a Bible course held in Amsterdam for leaders going into full time ministry.

I need your prayers during this time! I will be in Panama until August 3rd and want to do my best to invest in the new leaders and set them up for success. I will then be home in New Jersey for the month of August building the team I will need to accomplish my ministry vision and meet my support raising goals.

- Peace and clarity in a time of transition, sensitivity to the Lords voice and guidance.

- Wisdom for time management and how and where to invest my time.

- Personal spiritual growth in a time where it is easy for me to get overwhelmed.

- Provision as I build my support team to continue serving the Lord full time.
