Greeting from Barcelona and feliz Navidad as we celebrate the birth of JESUS the savior of the world.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord - Luke 2:11
It’s been almost a month since I arrived to my new home in this magical city. God is already opening doors and has already given me many opportunities to connect with local skaters and artists. Here are a few photos and stories from this holiday season that I wanted to share.

It has been such a great season to explore Barcelona, adapt to the culture and make new friends.
Here we were at a really cool camera shop celebrating their anniversary.
I have already been blessed to make some great connections with the local artist community.
Meet the Grunder family aka "the ZUNDERS".

This family has been a huge part of my life the last few weeks and helped make my Christmas very special. Paul, Jacob and Hillary have been visiting their sister Sarah, along with their parents they have adopted me as part of their family during this time. From visiting the beautiful sights of Barcelona together to cooking late night meals in my apartment we have bonded well and laughed a lot together! I am very thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Grunder for inviting me to spend Christmas with their family. Not only did they adopt me as a part of their family, they even invited my good friend and spiritual brother Luis Aponte who is from Panama but living in Barcelona to join us for our Christmas celebration. The Grunders are a beautiful example of a Christ centered family naturally
impacting those around them in a powerful way.
I am so thankful I got to meet them and share
these special moments together.

The last two photos are from our Christmas walk to "Montjuic" a mountain range just outside of the city where we visited a beautiful garden and an old castle. This was a beautiful way to get some exercise and take a break from the festive feasting on Christmas day.
I am so thankful to be here in Barcelona and am looking forward to the new year and all the Lord is going to do. Calling All Skaters has some big things planned that I am excited to share with you as time goes on. Thanks everyone for the prayers and support!
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
DAVE
