SKATE & CREATE 2018

Dear friends, greeting from Barcelona!

I hope you are entering into this new year with high expectations to see God work in great ways in and through your lives. Here in Barcelona God has been opening doors for me to connect with local skaters, I am so thankful to be here and feel like its exactly where God wants me.

I would like to share something exciting with you about my plans for 2018. As you may know, one of the ways I believe God is calling me to serve Him here in Barcelona is through my love for art. A large majority of the skaters I interact with have a passion for creative outlets such as photography, cinematography, music, etc... For years I have wanted to pioneer something that brings both art and skate together with a greater purpose.

Along with the rest of the team that I am partnering with to reach the local skaters in this city, we have recognized the need for a place for skaters to come and develop their creativity and grow in a healthy environment that encourages them in their abilities. In 2018 we will be opening a space with this purpose where we can build relationships with more local skaters and share Jesus with them in an environment of friendship and trust.

I want to invite you to pray about becoming a part of this vision to reach the Skaters of Barcelona through this creative space. Our first step towards this vision is to renovate the space we will be renting and the building of a dark room for analog photography. As many skaters shoot photos on film we would like to offer them a space to learn the artistic process of developing film and printing their photographs.

Our prayer is that this space will simply draw people together, allowing us to share the Love of God is creative ways to the skate community.

We will be raising funds during the month of January/February to begin renovations as soon as possible.

I know some of you are already supporting me personally as a missionary and want to be clear that this is a unique project that I am raising funds for and inviting you to partner with.
