In my last update I shared about the discipleship training school that brought skateboarders from all over the world to Barcelona for a season of growing in their relationship with God. It is very encouraging to witnesses lives transformed every year in this school and to see the fruit it produces in the lives of each student and the people they interact with while skateboarding in the streets and alleys of cities across the globe. This school is what recently led me on a mission to Sarajevo Bosnia, a place I never even thought about visiting. Calling All Skaters desire is to expand our vision and heart for skateboarders to know and follow Jesus to every skate community world wide. Although the skate scene in Sarajevo is small, God has opened the door for us to take teams there to share Gods Love and grace to the skaters. While visiting the school in Bosnia I served them by translating all the class times and doing a lot of counseling sessions with the staff and the students. I could really sense Gods favor while in Bosnia, I am so thankful for all the prayers and support I received.

Our group was in Sarajevo for Go Skateboarding Day, this is the day where skate communities world wide celebrate the passion and gift of skateboarding. I was proud of the way our skaters showed so much support to the local Bosnian skaters and shared about what God was doing in their lives. I really connected with a skater named Adil, the nicest skateboarder I have probably ever met. Adil like myself is very passionate about skateboarding and photography, immediately we hit it off. Over the next couple of days Adil showed me around the city and taught me a lot about the history and religious culture in Bosnia. As friends we were able to talk a lot about our beliefs, Adil like the majority of the skaters in Bosnia comes from a Muslim family and is on a path to figuring out what he believes. Sitting on a rooftop cafe overlooking the city of Sarajevo Adil and I were able to talk about Jesus, Grace and the beautiful message of salvation through the cross.

These photos are from Go Skateboarding Day. Skateboarding, Pizza, community and even a surprise baptism happened that day!
I really look forward to going back to Bosnia and spending time with those amazing people I met while I was there. Gods heart of Love extends to the ends of the earth, to every skater and for every soul. It is such a privilege to be part of Calling All Skaters, calling people HOME to KNOW their true Father!
PRAYER REQUEST - While I was in Bosnia our house got infested with bed bugs and since I have been back we have had to throw out all our furniture and will have a professional fumigator come in to deal with the problem this week. It has been quite miserable living with those little critters in our home. I am glad we have the money to pay a service to exterminate the problem. My other roommates and I will soon be looking to replace our old furniture. Refurnishing our home will not be cheap so I wanted to make the need known for anyone who feels led to support us financially to replace our furniture. Our home is a place where we host a lot of guests that are in need of encouragement and christian community so we want to move on from this situation and keep fulfilling the ministry of hospitality. Hey don't let the bed bugs bite
